Quick answer: Live Quran classes with Tajweed online are real-time lessons where a qualified teacher listens to your recitation and corrects every letter as you read. At Al-Haramain Preacher's Corner, each class is 30 minutes, 1-on-1, and follows a five-stage path from the Arabic letters to fluent, refined recitation.
Why must Tajweed be learned live?
Tajweed is learned by listening and repeating. The Quran has been passed from teacher to student, mouth to ear, since the Prophet ﷺ. An app can show a rule, but only a live teacher can hear that your qaaf sounds like a kaaf and fix it in the moment.
What will I learn, step by step?
1. Foundations — Arabic letters and Quranic reading. Using a beginner-level reading method, you learn to recognise and join the letters correctly.
2. Pronunciation — Makharij and Sifaat. You learn where each letter is pronounced and its characteristics.
3. Tajweed — essential rules. Noon Sakinah, Meem Sakinah, Madd, Qalqalah and the rules of stopping (Waqf).
4. Application — Quranic recitation. You apply the rules to surahs from Juz 'Amma.
5. Mastery — fluency and refinement. Longer passages with continuous correction from your teacher.

What happens in a typical class?
Your teacher begins by revising the previous lesson, introduces one new rule or letter group, and then listens while you read. Mistakes are corrected immediately and practised until they are right. You finish with a short task for daily practice.
How often should I attend?
Most students take between 2 and 5 classes a week. Packages start at $60 a month for 3 days a week. See the fee structure.
