A confident Muslim child is not the loudest in the room. They are the one who does not need the room's approval — because they already have their Lord's.
Teach them the seerah early. A child who knows how the Prophet ﷺ stood alone in Makkah will never see standing alone at school as strange.
Praise their deen, not just their grades. When they lower their gaze, tell them you noticed. When they defend a classmate, thank them. What is praised at home is what grows.
Let them meet scholars, even online. A single warm conversation with a teacher from Madinah can shape a child's ambition for a decade.
Give them Arabic — even a little. Being able to read the Quran, understand a khutbah, or say a du'a in Arabic gives a child a quiet, unshakeable pride no bully can touch.
Model the confidence yourself. They will not be brave Muslims in public if they see their parents shrink in public. Wear your deen with dignity; they are always watching.
